VQV prefers open and public sources such as RSS feeds, public APIs, official blogs, technical communities, research databases, and code repositories.
Freshness, source weight, keyword relevance, cross-source confirmation, and novelty are combined into a simple MVP score.
NEW, RISING, SOURCE-BACKED, WATCH, LOW SIGNAL, and NOISE help separate concrete movement from repeated or weak items.
Signal strength reflects source quality, relevance, freshness, and evidence. It is not a claim of independent fact-checking.
VQV may use AI to polish summaries for high-signal items. These summaries are based only on the listed sources and do not represent independent fact-checking.
VQV uses a clear User-Agent, timeouts, limited requests, URL hashing, and feed/API endpoints before any normal web-page crawling.
VQV does not use X/Twitter scraping, does not use paid APIs, and does not claim private or insider information. Public API rate limits are reported as data limits, not hidden failures.
